Alethia Forrester2024-01-27 Brilliant place where kids can run around and suitable for special needs too, my little brother loves it on a week day when it's quiet and he can just sit and play the retro games, the toddler area is great too and is gated so there no change of escape. I would recommend keeping an eye on the kids when not in the play area though as there are no front doors so they can easily run out of the place 😂 Mark Price2024-01-25 Had a really amazing experience at Gamer x Wigan this afternoon. The place was spotlessly clean and lots of space for children to run around. Lots of choice on the menu and we had the kids chicken meal and a pizza which was nice. Only discovered the laser room at the back 10 minutes before closing but the lovely Joey opened it back up again and let my little boy have a quick game as it was our first time visiting. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon. Only criticism would be that they don’t have any toilet facilities within the place, they are based outside in the main shopping centre which is a pain to run in and out but apart from that I had no complaints. Dayle Roberts2024-01-24 Held my son's 6th birthday party here. Him and his mates had an amazing time. Our party host (apologies, I can't remember her name) was absolutely brilliant, and she is a real credit to your company. Would definitely recommend it. Tom Munno2024-01-22 Been here a few times and always had an amazing experience! Staff are super friendly and helpful with any queries-my brother got stuck on the VR games and was unsure what to do but the team there were so attentive to his needs (SEN). Their new playstation VRs are a great laugh too, especially the boxing game! Food is also amazing value for money- highly recommend the piri piri chicken panini. Keep up the good work guys! Amy Hendley2024-01-22 Kept my 2 year old lad busy for 2 hours. Some of the things don't work but the staff member with the pink hair was amazing. She was trying to get them working, interactive with the children and keeping the area clean and tidy. She was great and helpful the whole time. Sarah Davies2024-01-22 Good concept and fantastic price for under 5s off peak, however when out with 2 year old I tend to come with friends and their kids.... there are no toilets or baby change facilities so you have to use the ones by the exit to the car park. If on your own you have to take your baby and older child plus belongings back and forth with you, the older kids closely don't want to leave. If with friends and looking after their kids, they all suddenly like to run in all directions causing safety concerns when the toddlers then decide to run out the doors as there is no safety barriers. The lego tables would be better nearer the toddler area too as it's unnerving being so close to the exit. There should be at least a fully enclosed space for safety. Peter Cunningham2024-01-21 Great time for me and my son. Friendly staff with Joey answering all my questions and making everything easy Jazz3562024-01-21 Great price for Toddlers £1. Beware no toilets on-site, so it's not ideal if potty training or need to change a child's nappy. A lot of things are already broken or missing and already look worn out. Mini walzers for toddlers are frustrating as controllers run out of charge quickly or don't work. Sue Lynskey2024-01-17 Visited a couple of weeks ago with a 3 year old. Whilst the idea is good to have activities for children of all ages I think health and safety have not checked this place out. The toddler area....fenced off but there are several plug sockets in that area not covered when not in use !! Also there were 2 desks fir three kiddies to colour on yet felt tip pen lids lying about...chocking hazard !! Another area is lego...strewn about like what kids do but again choking hazard for toddlers wandering about and not being watched carefully. The big inflatable with a post that spins round...I saw at least 12 children sat on the thing trying to stop it turning....no one supervising the mayhem !! The centre of the 'play area' where kids can swing from above from one bar to another.....kids run about the place and can run through or under there where the older kids are as not blocked off for safety !! Pointless emailing this place as they don't respond so that's why I've put a review! Will NOT be using again!
